Brazil will host 18th FAI World Paragliding Championship

Brazil's Bid to host 18th FAI World Paragliding Championship was unanimously approved by CIVL Plenary. The championship is to be held in Andradas - Minas Gerais  4-16 September 2023. 

It is organized but the local club Vetor Esportes with the support of CAB NAC of Brazil. Proposed take off Pico do Gavião has a complete infrastructure: Parking for 300 cars
Sports Equipment Store, 30.000 m² of grassy area, Male, Female and Adapted Bathrooms, Playground, Livecam, Baby Changing Room, Snack bar, Nursery, Drinking Fountain,
Wi Fi.

The organizer of sporting events with great participation in several sports VETOR ESPORTES has got a team of qualified members with national and international experience in FAI II events like Paragliding World Cup and National Championships. The club has big private sponsors and does not depend on financial support from the local administration. 

The championship team will include:

  • Launch (or drop) Marshal Zenilson Rocha & Fabio Christovan

The test event will be held September 3 - 10, 2022
